Look Who's Here

Look who's at 5am Prayer again! God is doing His thang in the lives of our youth and I'm so glad about it. Ambar, do you paint your smile on? C'mon it's 5 o' clock in the morning...lol. I'm so proud of these two. It makes my heart leap to see the transformation that they are allowing Christ to make in their lives. Good morning Jesus.

All these cars

Do you see all those cars? Our sunrise prayer has grown from just a few to over 50 people that have been attending howing up the last several days to seek the Lord. This is so kool!
So I open the doors of the church this morning and people are waiting to get in...it's just an absolute blessing.

I mean look at all those cars! They're cars are parked outside and they are inside praying down the GLORY of GOD! Do you see how the lic. plates have that glare? May the owners of these vehicles, lives glow in like manner. I pray that they all experience the manifest GLORY of GOD resting upon them and that it would glow in the midst of darkness.

Check it out...the crazy park your car right in front of the door on the patio, is usually reserved for crazy full special services and such but 5am prayer.....ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh do it up Jesus! What we are seeing God do is just sik!

Bring "IT" Back

I had to cut my last blog in half because Misa said that he hates reading long blogs...jajaja. So here we go...part II.
I Chronicles 16:1
They brought the Chest of God and placed it right in the center of the tent that David had pitched for it; then they worshiped by presenting burnt offerings and peace offerings to God.

God is sovereign and does all things well in His time. As I was saying I just wanted to feel and experience the Glory of God in my early morning prayer time. I mean come on...it's 4 o'clock in the morning (smile) but it did not happen at 4 in the morning...God you are Good!

Tuesday night at Open Your Mouth (our youth prayer meeting)! Talk about showers of blessing!!! We prayed for, I think, everyone who was present that night. We prayed and it was powerful.I mean the Glory of GOD came down. We prayed and prayed and cried and travailed, and wept and prayed, and danced and fell out...it was so incredible how God moved and showed His power. We were just about finished, I had laid hands on I think everyone and Pax came to me and said, "Eddie, I want us to pray for you" and I am so glad they did. Pax, you are a man of God. I'm honored to be a co-laborer in the work of God with you. I thank you for your sensitivity to the Spirit of God.

The "gloray" as we say in the South...where is it? I heard a preacher one time preach along these lines "Lord, bring back the Gloray" this is truly my prayer and hearts desire that God will use us to be a Bring Back His Glory Generation...I mean a Bring "IT" Back Generation! I pray that God will use us to raise up a NEW generation of young people and young believers that will settle for nothing less than the manifest GLORY of God resting upon their lives...and I'm seeing it unfold before my very eyes....Ebe, Misa, Pax, Jordan, Yvette, Janee, Jason, Jamon, Cesar, Olie, Sammy, Totoy, Esteban, Elias, Elisa, Sandra...may the Glory of God rest upon you and all that you do for Christ.

I was and remain richly blessed from Tuesday night's Open Your Mouth. It was all that I wanted to feel and experience in the mornings and SO much more...the Lord is Faithful and His Glory so RICH. I love you all and once again let His GLORY rest upon us.

His Glory

Our 21 Days of consecration is in full swing and what you would expect me to say is that how AWESOME or what a blessing it has been, so far. Naturally that's the testimony, one would expect. I mean spending on average 5 hours a day in prayer and supplication, that's what you would expect to hear; "oh what a blessings the early prayer has been in my life", "I'm so enjoying the fast" or "I'm seeing God do so much in my life", "I feel so encouraged and directed in the Lord since we began our 21 Days";  however this is not at all how I was feeling..not at all. Admittedly I was rather despondent and sort of confused and growing weary. I found myself asking God, what is going on? I'm fasting, praying, spending  an exuberant amount of time studying the Bible yet I feel discouraged...confused and full of doubt??? How is this possible? I mean we were starting our 2nd week and I was looking for some AWESOMENESS (is that a real word?) well the Glory of God to show up! I mean when reading Exodus 16:7 it says "and in the morning you will see the glory of the Lord," ...and then in verse 10 it says "...And there it was: the Glory of GOD visible in the Cloud." So naturally because I'm up, it's morning , so where is the Glory?

I did not have the answer to what I was feeling and thinking. I simply would repeat to myself over and over again...Eddie, don't be tired or weak in well doing, just keep on keeping on. It's not about you anyways, you know that others are being blessed. I knew all that but I still wanted my blessing too. I just kept coming. I would make sure to check my alarm before going to bed each night and make sure to get up at 4, get dressed and get to the church for prayer. Then the Lord met me...and it wasn’t early in the morning at all. Though I was seeking Him early, oh how He met me later...to be continued.

Day 4

Hello Everyone, I pray that everyone is well. It's Day 4 of our 21 Days of Holy Consecration and I am yet holding on (those of you from the South completely understand that phrase) Sadly, I did not have time to post anything yesterday. It was a crazy full day.I prayed, sang, read and then worked, worked, worked, ran Ebe all over creation went back for more work but that was a good thing. I had to present my budget for our revival conference in November to Pastor Z. and I got it almost 100% approved! That was worth the trip alone. So here is my yesterday, some thoughts about today and if I'm really inspired maybe I'll include tomorrow.

Every morning at about 4 am on my way to prayer, I take pictures of whatever I can find that I think the world might care about or find slightly interesting. Some of you are probably like...we'll Eddie, you're not off to a very good start...lol. I' ll keep trying. So this is a street light, lighting my way to Jesus...oh wait...not quite to Jesus but to the church building at least. Stop thinking I'm corny, Misa, and appreciate my attempt at artistic photography.
It is really dark at 4: am!

I opened the doors of the church building and there was a car in the parking lot. What in the world? Young people showing up for prayer at 5 am...WOW! This is really kool. I tell our youth group this all the time. I'm not interested in raising another generation of "good church kids". I want to see God raise up a generation of WORLD CHANGERS! I want to see a generation of young men and women that live with the POWER
This is my view of the sanctuary for 21 Days. I'm on the floor looking up towards Heaven asking, pleading, declaring, invoking the power, presence and will of God in our lives.
Seeking God from under the pews at one point. I know some of you are like...how are you taking all these pictures during prayer?
I'll give you the answer...I take out my digital camera and snap the shot...the secret is to remain in a prayerful attitude.

(Misa, thanks for this idea) I don't think you can see my tear stains on the carpet. I read each of the prayer request everyday. It's impossible to read them without shedding a tear or two, so many needs. If you haven't read them with your heart and you have only read words on paper, then right now...get off the internet, go get in your car, drive to the church and read the prayer request with your heart. Ask God to allow you to be moved with compassion for your brothers and sisters and their needs and or petitions.

Wait...I'm actually at Starbucks writing this but just got an idea so I need to get to the church.

to be continued...

So much to pray about and sooooooo much time to do it!

Wow! What a day. I found myself rushing home so that I could post today's thoughts. This picture is of the church at 4:16 am. I'm arriving for day 2 of our 21 Days of Holy Consecration.

Gotta get the fountain going...I love this thing, oh yeah on to prayer and what happened.

In the very beginning the church is dark, cold and empty but there is a calm and peace that meets me as I begin to worship the Lord.

The area of the altar/stage edge that has been allocated for the petitions/prayer request of the church is growing. I am shocked and then moved to tears as I read each petition. I call out every name and need on every card, every day. I want God to hear the cry of His children. The request submitted by some of these people blow me away, some of the things that people are facing, fighting and dealing with, moving...such needs.

My time in prayer has just been out of this world. What has made and is making it so outta this world? The fact that I have so much time to pray. Each day for the next 21 Days I have allocated 5 hours for focused, concentrated and very specific devotional prayer time. During my devotional prayer time I have ample time for prayer, praise, worship, meditation and scripture reading...INCREDIBLE!
The kool thing about having so much time to spend in prayer is just that, I have so much time... I have all the time I need.
I'm grateful and thankful to God for all that He is doing on the behalf of His children all over South San Diego County. We know that not many days hence He will reveal Himself mighty to Save in every need that is brought before him during 21 Days Holy Consecration.

See ya...I gotta go to bed because 3:45 am comes e-a-r-l-y.

Experiencing the Great Life!

How to Worship While Wounded

We are currently in the middle of a four part series Worship From A to Z. During this study we are walking through all 26 letters of the alphabet and ascribing a word for each letter of the alphabet that applies to worship. This past Sunday was part 2 entitled How to Worship While Wounded. God moved in a mighty way in our service. We experienced  the healing power of the Almighty! The body of Christ responded to the Word of God with gladness allowing the healing sathe of His Word to be applied to every wounded area of our lives. We were and remain so grateful to the Lord for showing Himself mighty and beautiful for our situations.
