So much to pray about and sooooooo much time to do it!

Wow! What a day. I found myself rushing home so that I could post today's thoughts. This picture is of the church at 4:16 am. I'm arriving for day 2 of our 21 Days of Holy Consecration.

Gotta get the fountain going...I love this thing, oh yeah on to prayer and what happened.

In the very beginning the church is dark, cold and empty but there is a calm and peace that meets me as I begin to worship the Lord.

The area of the altar/stage edge that has been allocated for the petitions/prayer request of the church is growing. I am shocked and then moved to tears as I read each petition. I call out every name and need on every card, every day. I want God to hear the cry of His children. The request submitted by some of these people blow me away, some of the things that people are facing, fighting and dealing with, moving...such needs.

My time in prayer has just been out of this world. What has made and is making it so outta this world? The fact that I have so much time to pray. Each day for the next 21 Days I have allocated 5 hours for focused, concentrated and very specific devotional prayer time. During my devotional prayer time I have ample time for prayer, praise, worship, meditation and scripture reading...INCREDIBLE!
The kool thing about having so much time to spend in prayer is just that, I have so much time... I have all the time I need.
I'm grateful and thankful to God for all that He is doing on the behalf of His children all over South San Diego County. We know that not many days hence He will reveal Himself mighty to Save in every need that is brought before him during 21 Days Holy Consecration.

See ya...I gotta go to bed because 3:45 am comes e-a-r-l-y.

Experiencing the Great Life!
