Day 4

Hello Everyone, I pray that everyone is well. It's Day 4 of our 21 Days of Holy Consecration and I am yet holding on (those of you from the South completely understand that phrase) Sadly, I did not have time to post anything yesterday. It was a crazy full day.I prayed, sang, read and then worked, worked, worked, ran Ebe all over creation went back for more work but that was a good thing. I had to present my budget for our revival conference in November to Pastor Z. and I got it almost 100% approved! That was worth the trip alone. So here is my yesterday, some thoughts about today and if I'm really inspired maybe I'll include tomorrow.

Every morning at about 4 am on my way to prayer, I take pictures of whatever I can find that I think the world might care about or find slightly interesting. Some of you are probably like...we'll Eddie, you're not off to a very good start...lol. I' ll keep trying. So this is a street light, lighting my way to Jesus...oh wait...not quite to Jesus but to the church building at least. Stop thinking I'm corny, Misa, and appreciate my attempt at artistic photography.
It is really dark at 4: am!

I opened the doors of the church building and there was a car in the parking lot. What in the world? Young people showing up for prayer at 5 am...WOW! This is really kool. I tell our youth group this all the time. I'm not interested in raising another generation of "good church kids". I want to see God raise up a generation of WORLD CHANGERS! I want to see a generation of young men and women that live with the POWER
This is my view of the sanctuary for 21 Days. I'm on the floor looking up towards Heaven asking, pleading, declaring, invoking the power, presence and will of God in our lives.
Seeking God from under the pews at one point. I know some of you are like...how are you taking all these pictures during prayer?
I'll give you the answer...I take out my digital camera and snap the shot...the secret is to remain in a prayerful attitude.

(Misa, thanks for this idea) I don't think you can see my tear stains on the carpet. I read each of the prayer request everyday. It's impossible to read them without shedding a tear or two, so many needs. If you haven't read them with your heart and you have only read words on paper, then right now...get off the internet, go get in your car, drive to the church and read the prayer request with your heart. Ask God to allow you to be moved with compassion for your brothers and sisters and their needs and or petitions.

Wait...I'm actually at Starbucks writing this but just got an idea so I need to get to the church.

to be continued...
