1. Turn on the fountain and lights so that when people drive in they'll see the fountain and know that we are open and ready for prayer.
2. I turned on the lights in the sanctuary not too many and not too few, in order to set an inviting atmosphere that encourages prayer.
3. I turned on some soft devotional type music, some English and some Spanish in order to fit our prayer audience.
4. I also set up a welcome table with the following items on it. I wanted everyone to be able to participate and have all the tools that might be needed in order to have a most fruitful prayer time as possible.
a. Bibles
b. Kleenex
c. Notepads
d. Daily devotional (for give-away)
e. veils
I even took the time to take all of the prayer cards out of the backpack and placed them across the altar area. I want people when they come in to be able to see the vast number of needs submitted by their brothers and sisters. I want them to pick up the cards and call out the names and needs written on them.
I know that it's going to be AWESOME!
